This USDA service works to improve foreign market access for U.S. food and agricultural products. In addition to more than 700 market research reports, this exporter assistance programs, import and export data, trade leads, overseas offices, news releases and export guides.

A joint web site for Japan-America societies across America, including the Japan America Society of Minnesota. The “Resources” link highlights Japanese government, business, culture, language, organizations, and more.
   

Japan Information Access Project:  www.jiaponline.org

This group works to strengthen international understanding of Japanese business and culture.  The site includes news, expert reports, information on deregulation, and Japan-related links.
   

JETRO Chicago:  www.jetrocgo.org/

The Chicago office represents JETRO in the Midwestern states.  Information includes local Japan related trade events, state trade information, and “Trading with Japan”.

JETRO is a non-profit Japanese government organization which promotes trade and economic relations between Japan and other nations.  A great online resource for trade information about Japan, including laws and regulations, trading with Japan, fairs and exhibitions, and market reports.

U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service in Tokyo:  www.csjapan.doc.gov/

This U.S. Dept. of Commerce service helps U.S. companies enter Japanese markets.  Their site offers market reports, a list of services,  and current political and business news.
