DEED Library: International Business & Market Research
The DEED Library's international business collection, located on the 2nd floor of the 1st Bank Building in downtown St. Paul, is an excellent place to conduct market research, identify potential distributors or partners, research a country’s business practices, and much more. The library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

EXPORT.GOV
Export.gov brings together resources from across the U.S. Government to assist American businesses in planning their international sales strategies and succeeding in today’s global marketplace. The website provides access to market research reports, Country Commercial Guides and trade leads from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service, as well as a step-by-step approach to market research.

Trade Information Center: 1-800-USA-TRAD(E)
The TIC is a comprehensive resource for information on all U.S. Federal Government export assistance programs, and provides general and country-specific export information, international market research and trade leads, and guidance on tariff and customs procedures.

Locate an Overseas Office of the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service
The U.S. Commerce Department maintains an extensive network of overseas offices staffed by trade specialists who can provide expert advice on the countries and industries they serve.

U.S. Export Assistance Center—Minneapolis (USEAC)
The U.S. Commerce Department’s local Export Assistance Office is staffed by trade specialists who can provide market-related advice and assistance to U.S. exporters.

Manufacturing and Services Office: International Trade Administration
The Office of Manufacturing and the Office of Services consists of industry analysts covering virtually all industry sectors of the economy. This site provides international market reports and analysis, as well as contact information for international industry specialists based in Washington, D.C.

Industry and Trade Data: Office of Trade and Industry Information
OTII conducts a comprehensive program of data development, data dissemination, and research and analysis on international and domestic trade and investment issues. Get the latest annual and quarterly trade data by state, destination country, and industry at TradeStats Express.

American Chambers of Commerce Abroad
The American Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AmChams) advance the interests of American business overseas. They are voluntary associations of American companies and individuals doing business in a particular country, as well as firms and individuals of that country who operate in the United States. Currently, 104 AmChams in 91 countries are affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
